Like a lot of my work, this painting
represents energy.
The goddess of the sea, draws in the energy from the sun, in fact becomes
pregnant with it, and then reflects it outward on the mass of water, her
immediate environment. It is symbolism of our own potential. When we
understand and hold a connection with an endless source of energy we find
the power to share this energy without fear of draining ourselves. The
beauty is that this energy reflects back on ourselves and we also
replenish ourselves in the process. |
